Tarkett Flooring for your Home

Ding Ding, Summer is officially here. This is the perfect season to revitalise your interior decor with a helping hand from our friends over at Tarkett. Tarkett is a world leader when it comes to modern and contemporary flooring solutions for all spaces in the home. Whether it is for the bedroom, the home office or entrances and hallways, Tarkett offers a wide selection of flooring guaranteed to add a great first impression to your interior.

Tough and reliable, we do love to give our flooring a run for its money. From shifting the furniture around, changing the layout of your room for the 5th time since lock-down began and strutting your stuff in your new stilettos that you can’t wear anywhere. These actions really test the limits of how robust a floor really is.

LVT is quickly becoming one of the biggest growing markets in flooring and is extremely popular for use in the home as an affordable alternative to wooden and stone flooring. Whilst being more design led than standard sheet vinyl, LVT is also a step up from your basic laminate, it’s the new ‘must have’.

They’re the new playground. No matter what you think of in a flooring, realistically with LVT it can be created thanks to its endless design versatility and possibilities.

There is certainly more than meets the eye with these luxury vinyl tiles. Featuring a PVC core and fibreglass to give the flooring stability followed by a printed design film to give a wooden, stone or slate effect. They can further be embossed to give the look and feel (literally) of an oak or rough & rustic flooring effect, or you can even go smooth if that’s your style.

Topped with a wear layer and a TopCleanXP™ PUR coating to protect the product, these LVT’s are designed to withstand every shock, scratch, stain and noise. So you don’t need to be walking on eggshells around your new floor.

Their fibreglass make-up ensures your new tiles are nice and stable but still remain a flexible product, making it easier and quicker to install on any sub-floor. Trust me, it will keep your fitters happy and a happy fitter is a happy home.

Okay so there are 2 options to Tarkett’s beautifully designed LVT products, which are Stickdown (iD Inspiration55), and Click (iD inspiration click). Pretty self explanatory, iD inspiration click are click planks, they just click and clunk in place with a bit of help from a fitter. Whereas iD inspiration 55 are stick-down planks, so you are going to want to purchase some adhesive along with these.

Both options boast many desirable properties. Fire resistant (meeting EU standards), suitable for use with underfloor heating, slip resistance, sound-proofing and thermal resistance. A flooring solution that really does tick all the boxes!

LVT is a more cost effective product than the product it replicates and BOY doesn’t it replicate it well? For the end user in terms of life cycle costs, LVT really is a great option and it looks so pretty too right?!

Add some Tarkett into your basket. Pronto
