It's time to turn Pinterest into reality
Do you ever go onto Pinterest for some home office inspiration, pin all the amazing pictures to your board, but never have the motivation to plan your own?
Well you're in luck because we’re here to give you some tips on how to plan and execute a productive, stylish office space - on a budget of course! We are the home of affordable design after all.
Which is the best room for an office work space at home?
Most people opt for the box room of the house, but you can make an office space anywhere! Whether it’s a large stair landing, a small closet or a corner of your kitchen or living/dining room.
Create a floor plan for the office room
You might be tempted to just go to IKEA and buy the first desk and chair you can find, but measuring your room and creating a floor plan will make everything fit perfectly. Your floor plan doesn't have to be crafted on the computer, you can simply write all the measurements down on a scrap of paper.
Look for bargains to decorate your office
If you want to freshen the place up with a lick of paint and new flooring or a rug, check your shed to see if you have any spare pots of paint lying around or grab yourself a bargain in B&M or Home Bargains (or Home and Bargains as we say in Liverpool). I am a content creator within the flooring industry so of course I'm about to offer some advice on which flooring to choose

You don’t have to be a professional fitter to install these 50cm x 50cm carpet tiles, all you need is Bostik Spray Adhesive, a Stanley knife and measuring tape and a pencil.
All you have to do is find the middle of the room by measuring wall to wall, then start laying the carpet tiles from that middle point and create two crossed rows of tiles. Cut the perimeter tiles if needed, then secure each tile in place by using Bostik Spray Adhesive. Voila, you’ve laid them all by yourself!
