About Forbo Flotex Wood Effect Carpet Planks
Furry wood-effect flooring planks made for heavy contract use? Oh what a time to be alive!
'What does carpet have that traditional wood doesn't have?' we hear you ask... Durability, underfoot comfort, the ability to reduce unwanted noise, anti-slip qualities and the ability to move or replace singularly and that's just for starters. Flotex Wood is a fine example of the more affordable and cutting edge options on the market when solid or engineered wood is just no good.
As with all Flotex planks, their tactile texture is something that has got everybody (including us) ooh-ing and ah-ing. When Forbo came in to show off this innovative collection of carpet tiles, they described the feel of Flotex as being "just like Action Man's hair" and we couldn't have said it better ourselves. Not only does this make for a real point of interest, the short, straight fibres that make up this faux wood won't trap in dirt particles so these babies will be as easy to keep looking fresh as the real thing.
