About Interface Touch of Timber Carpet Planks

As a combination of natural aesthetics and the functional benefits of modular flooring, these wood effect carpet planks from our official partners in design (Interface) are all about indulging in an innate human desire to connect with the great outdoors. A clever use of 100% recycled Nylon yarns resemble the gorgeousness of bark and the variety of wood grain for a cutting-edge alternative to traditional solid wood flooring, which is whole lot more high maintenance let us tell ya.
Biophilia and biomimicry are two posh words used to describe the way us humans replicate the best parts of nature to make our own lives much prettier and functional and it's a super popular concept in the worlds of architecture, interior design and flooring. While the Touch of Timber carpet planks look a lot like wood, they're also much kinder to our environment than standard carpet tiles too. Under the Microtuft umbrella, these flooring tiles eliminate the need for a layer of latex between yarn and backing which significantly reduces their carbon footprint. With a 15 year wear warranty, this ones a real all-rounder. -
