Millennium House, Belfast

It’s been a hot while since we brought you a blog post on a recently completed project so we thought we’d start off with a bloomin’ good one! We supplied a variety of carpet tile products to Gallagher Contracts Ltd, many of which were our home brand Nouveau, to assist in the stunning transformation of Millennium House in Northern Ireland’s lively capital city, Belfast.

In the above images, Nouveau Bee Line and Nouveau Elite Pristmastic have both been used to assist the workers in the building with way finding and as a method of zoning between spaces. The areas where the staff will work and the spaces they will use to move from zone to zone are clearly visible through the clever use of carpet tiles and the way the floor has been designed. So if the members of staff can’t manage to figure out how to get from A to B they clearly haven’t consumed their morning Weetabix!

The interiors of the glass meeting rooms all centre around a single colour with the flooring selected to reflect it. Nouveau Futureproof has been colour blocked at the entrance to define the meeting space and Nouveau Elite Prismatic is laid in the remainder with the faint lines of colour reflecting the tone of the space. Feature walls in the glass meeting rooms and the choice of seating colour also harmonise with the flooring and, you must admit, they look pretty darn sophisticated!
