Over the past few months, we’ve developed a brilliant bond with the guys over at Eddarbridge Land Developments contract company and we’re here to show off some of their stellar work. As you know, at the beginning of this year, we moved into a brand new HQ in Liverpool’s legendary Cotton Exchange building so when Eddarbridge director, Sean approached us looking for the perfect flooring solution for a brand new project in the city’s famous Princes Dock, we practically bit his hand off. Don’t worry, Sean’s hand is still in tact (promise) but we were super excited to be working on something so close to home.
This particular project was all part of a big refurbishment of a large, high rise office block in Liverpool city centre so we needed to come up with something strong, durable and long-lasting. As you probably already know, the ladies of Liverpool do love their stilettos so we set about finding a commercial flooring solution that would withstand high levels of footfall and landed on Burmatex’s doorstep. We were working with a striking design so needed a range that would deliver style and substance in equal measures so honed in on Burmatex Lateral. This tough polypropylene and nylon range is suitable for use with castor chairs and boasts antistatic properties, as well as a choice of 18 diverse colourways - bingo!
As well as supplying Eddarbridge with top quality carpet tiles at the best possible price point, the team also enlisted our help when it came down to the installation process. As you will see over on our Nationwide Fitting page, we don’t just stop at providing clients with industry-leading floors, we can fit them too so these guys took advantage of our affordable Straight Lay service. We were given a shipshape subfloor as a blank canvas to work with so we simply sent in one of our expert fitters who laid the tiles and completed the job within two days and I think it’s safe to say we delivered the goods:
