The invention of this modular flooring milestone marked one massive step away from traditional carpet rolls for many, many reasons and we haven’t looked back since but wait, is that the cogs of evolution we can hear turning once again? Yep, it most definitely is. Ahoy, shipmates - step on board the good ship Carpet Plank!

Up until now, we’ve been providing you all with our standardised sized carpet tiles. Our trusty 50x50cm tiles that have been providing you with limitless design and performance benefits for decades upon decades within their square-shaped boundary. However, there has been some exciting advancements in the world of flooring of late and it comes in the long, rectangular shape of carpet planks. That’s right, you read that correctly - carpet planks.

Offering all of the same advantages that come with their super square counterpart but with added extra creative freedom, flexibility and further reductions in wastage, carpet planks are set to take the industry by storm. Designed to mimic the aesthetic of wooden flooring but with the softness and comfort of carpet, these planks are a great way to make a real style statement while still being able to rely on the longevity and endurance of your new floor.
