Tesco Express, Southport

Proving that our team here at DCTUK.com can do anything, well almost anything, we were approached by the main contractor on behalf of Tesco PLC to fit ceramic tiles into their newest Tesco Express store in Southport, near Liverpool.

Ceramic tiles are not something we normally install, but our nationwide fit teams have experience in pretty much every type of commercial flooring, and we managed to get this project finished on time for the main contractor.

This project involved fitting 125m2 of 12 x 12 inch ceramic tiles with grouting. And we also installed Altro Walkway sheet vinyl on the stairs leading up the upstairs office and staff toilets, as well as the relevant stair nosings that were required.

The products used

Ceramic tiles

We fitted standard ceramic tiles into the Tesco at Southport. The product was supplied by the main contractor. Ceramic tiles are not products that we usually supply via our marketplace, but we're flexible enough to provide fitting services for any product required by any customer. Ceramic flooring tiles are a great option for retail outlets such as a Tesco Express unit, as they are easy to maintain and clean and can mop any spillages that occur.
